Volunteers made huggy pillows" for patients to hold onto for comfort after surgery. Carol Vealey-Ellis, owner of A Stitch Connection, provided sewing machines and material to make these pillows for Fawcett Memorial Hospital. A Stitch Connection chose to help the hospital fill its need for comfort pillows as a project for National Sewing Day (Sept. 29). One side of each pillow is embroidered with, Fawcett Memorial Hospital Our Family Caring for Yours. The other side reads, Made With Love, A Stitch Connection. |
